In cooperation with Coinmate, you can now use Bitrobot.pro automated trading robot free of charge! Please make sure to use this link when setting up your Bitrobot.pro. Please note that you will be required to trade funds of equivalent $1000 or more on Coinmate for the robot to run free of charge.

Go to https://bitrobot.pro/, enter your details and click on Request account (you will need a verified Coinmate account and Google/Gmail account to register for Bitrobot.pro).

A new account requires manual approval – this may take anywhere from a few minutes up to 1 business day. You will receive an email to your Gmail once your Bitrobot.pro account has been activated.

Before you begin setting up your Bitrobot.pro account, you will need to create a sub-account in your Coinmate account (menu FUNDS – BALANCES & SUBACCOUNTS – ADD SUB-ACCOUNT, name your new sub-account Bitrobot.pro for example).

This is for security reasons, so that only funds dedicated in your Coinmate sub-account for Bitrobot.pro trading may be vulnerable to unfavourable trades or misuse of the sub-account API keys. Funds in your main Coinmate account will remain untouched. Never generate API keys in your Coinmate MAIN ACCOUNT!

Now you need to transfer some funds (bitcoins, Euros or CZK) to your new Coinmate sub-account through menu FUNDS – BALANCES & SUBACCOUNTS – SUB-ACCOUNT TRANSFER

Once you receive an email that your Bitrobot.pro account has been activated, go to your Bitrobot.pro account menu SETTINGS.

Robot label  – this can be anything (name your robot)

Exchange and trading pair – choose if you wish to trade bitcoin for EUR or CZK

For the initial setup, we recommend leaving default parameters. You can change them later.

Exchange public API key (enabled for trading only). – Now while in your Coinmate account make sure that you have your new Coinmate sub-account selected – in the upper right corner of your Coinmate account you should see Bitrobot.pro – the name of your subaccount). Make sure you are not in your MAIN ACCOUNT.

Now click on the circle menu in the upper right corner and select menu “API”. Tick “Enable for trading (T)”, NEVER TICK Enable for withdrawals (W), it is a huge security threat! Label your API key (for example: Bitrobot.pro BTC/EUR) and generate new keys. Then copy your public and private API key and the userID (be careful to enter the private and public key in the correct fields!). Leave Exchange API password empty.

SAFETY NOTICE: Only enter the API keys into Bitrobot.pro once and do not store them anywhere on your PC or device and never give your API keys to anyone! You can always generate new API keys, so there is no need to store them and no one should ever see your API keys!

Save settings – now go to the Bitrobot.pro menu TRADE. After a few seconds, you should see “Connected”,  confirming you have set up your robot correctly.

Once your robot is successfully connected, go to Bitrobot.pro menu ACCOUNT and click the button “Activate Coinmate Link“.

When your Coinmate Link is successfully activated, your Bitrobot.pro account will run for free as a courtesy of Coinmate (Bitrobot.pro will not consume any of the free credits). This is however only under the condition that the overall trading balance of your robots is $1000 or greater (sum of BTC, EUR, CZK expressed in the value of USD).

If the value available for trading in your robot is lower than $1000, Bitrobot.pro will consume 1 credit each day from the 30 free credits. Once you run out, you will need to increase the available balance to $1000 or greater, or pay to Bitrobot.pro for more credits.

Once you activate the Coinmate Link, also a second Bitrobot.pro will become available in your Bitrobot.pro account. You can set up a second robot if you wish (on the other trading pair, or with a different strategy). The trading balance has to be the equivalent of $1000 or more for both trading pairs. For example, $500 on BTC/CZK and $500 on BTC/EUR or more for it to run credit-free, otherwise Bitrobot.pro credits will be consumed until you run out of them.

If you wish to set up the second Bitrobot.pro as well, please make sure to open a new (another) Coinmate sub-account for that with a new API key-pair generated under this other sub-account. THIS IS IMPORTANT! 2 Bitrobot.pro robots can’t run under the same sub-account or the same API key-pair.

Initially, your Bitrobot.pro will go through a “machine learning” stage which may take a few hours up to one day. After that, you should see some trades going on in your Coinmate Bitrobot.pro sub-account (once in your Coinmate Bitrobot.pro sub-account, go to menu TRADE, to see its trades).

Please note that not all trades will be perfect. Some may seem unfavourable (buys for a higher price then sells). You may try adjusting your Bitrobot.pro settings immediately, or wait a few days to see if it goes the right way or not eventually.

If you wish for Bitrobot.pro to stop trading on your account, untick “Trading active” in the SETTINGS menu of your Bitrobot.pro account. Or in case of an emergency, go to your Coinmate account (make sure you have the right sub-account selected in the upper-right corner), click on the circle to open up the menu, select API, and click on the trash bin next to your API key/s. This will delete the API key/s that Bitrobot.pro uses for trading on your Coinmate account. You will also need to check for Open orders in your Coinmate account to see if Bitrobot.pro left any orders opened in your Coinmate account.

Happy trading!
