1. INTRODUCTORY NOTE

1.1 The cookies policy clarifies rules regarding the purpose of using cookies and informing the user about their purpose on the website. The cookies policy and Privacy policy are part of the Terms and Conditions.

2. COOKIES

2.1 Cookies are short txt files created by a web server and saved via browser on a computer device of a user. Cookies are vastly used by the majority of websites. The next visit of the website the browser sends a saved cookie back to the server enabling the server to get all the information saved during the last visit.

2.2 Cookies enable the analysis of the number of visits and social networks functions, the protection of users’ data, the creation of personality contents and marketing communication and other features. Provider can thus offer targeted information and marketing contents.

2.3 Besides cookies the Provider is using web data warehouse. Web data warehouse stores voluminous data on the side of the Provider on his/her browser where the data can be processed by JavaScript. Usually the local warehouse is used to boost the web function and remember the user’s preferences.

2.4 In addition the Provider is using web beacons. These small pictures (not cookies) are located at the website and can be used to gather information from the personal device. Usually these are used to test websites, to determine the location of the user on the website, or to obtain a read receipt or as a complementary information to information obtained from cookies.

3. TYPES OF COOKIES

3.1 Different types of cookies are in place for a different period of time, i.e. data preservation period. Cookies can be permanent or temporary (meaning either the period during which the browser is on or period defined in the browser settings). Permanent cookies help to identify the user’s device during the website visit and prevent displaying the repeating contents. Temporary cookies are deleted automatically when the browser shuts down. They enable saving some information, i.e. the user does not have to keep filling some data in over again. Cookies can be deleted at any time regardless whether they are permanent or temporary. Specific time period of each cookie is stated in the list of cookies used by the Provider in the column “Expiration” below.

3.2 Types of cookies used by the Provider:

3.2.1 basic cookies ensure basic technical functioning of the website, i.e. signing in or using the service etc.;

3.2.2 operating cookies ensure creation of personality contents and saving preferences i.e. the language;

3.2.3 analytical cookies generate anonymous statistics about website using; and

3.2.4 advertising cookies target adverts on returning users.

3.3 Beside own cookies the Provider uses third party cookies needed for statistical data on number of visits, gaining relevant marketing information, making the contents of other websites accessible (i.e. YouTube), and making own marketing activities more effective (i.e. surveillance cookies, optimization cookies and partner cookies).

3.4 The Provider never places confidential or privacy data into cookies. The Provider can place the user’s ID into cookies. This in no way enables third parties to identify the user.

3.5 Websites use these types of technology:

3.5.1 Sklik (retargeting) maintained by Seznam.cz, a.s., shows an advert to the user in which he/she already showed an interest at advertising net of Seznam.cz, a.s.; and

3.5.2 Google Analytics maintained by Google, Inc.; Google, Inc. uses the information from cookies for the purposes of analysing the website visiting and informing the Provider, for providing other services concerning the activities on the website and using the internet in general. Google, Inc. can also hand over these pieces of information to third parties should it be required by the law or should third parties process the information for Google, Inc. Information about using the website together with the contents of cookies will be stored by Google, Inc. on servers in the USA.

Google Analytics extends its scope to cover advertising functions, namely:

3.5.2.1 number of displays in the advertising net of Google, Inc.;

3.5.2.2 remarketing (adverts displays based on checked products);

3.5.2.3 extended demographic overviews (anonymous demographic data reporting); and

3.5.2.4 user ID – Google Analytics function which enables to measure and to analyse user’s behaviour across devices; a series of numbers and letters is used as a user id; never using personal data letting the third party to identify a user.

3.6 Cookies set up are part of the internet browser. The majority of browsers automatically accept cookies in default set up. Cookies can be rejected or limited to certain types via Provider’s website.

5. OPERATING COOKIES

This type of cookies is used to identify devices accessing the website several times. They enable the creation of personality contents, to store user’s preferences (i.e. user name, language, geographic location, contents of a shopping basket etc.).

6. ANALYTICAL COOKIES

This type of cookies is used mainly to monitor the number of visits, to identify how the user browses the websites and which sections he/she visits. This type of cookies does not gather information that could identify a user. The Provider constantly improves the functionality of the websites by using this type of instrument. The obtained statistics serve to enhance the user’s comfort.

7. ADVERTISING COOKIES

This type of cookies is used for monitoring the number of visits on the websites of the Provider, websites of third parties (Provider’s contractual partners for adverts) and for monitoring hyperlinks used by the user when clicking between the websites, i.e. redirection from other websites to the websites of the Provider and vice versa. Such information serves to adjust Provider’s websites according to the interests of the user and can also be occasionally shared with third parties, i.e. social network providers, enabling the transmission of the contents of the Provider’s website into the user’s social network. Deletion or restriction of this type of cookies may cause the user to observe the adverts (of contract parties of the Provider) which would not match his/her interest.

8. OTHER WEBSITES AND SOCIAL PLUGIN

8.1 There might be hyperlinks on the Provider’s websites redirecting the user to other websites. Such websites are out of Provider’s control. Such websites usually have their own privacy policy. The Provider recommends the user to get familiar with these rules. The Provider is not responsible for the information, material, products or services contained or accessible from such websites or for personal data processing on such websites.

8.2 The Provider cooperates with third parties which can use cookies or similar technologies for the purposes of displaying the advertisement in relation to previous activities of the user and his/her interests. For this reason the cookies of third parties are saved on the user’s device when browsing such websites. The third parties are for example:

8.3 The websites make further use of retargeting functions from Sklik service maintained by Seznam.cz, a.s. If the user already showed interest in Provider’s product, this function displays Provider’s adverts to the user in the advertising net by Seznam.cz, a.s. Websites also contain a plugin to social network Facebook (Facebook Inc., 1601 Willow Road, Menlo Park, California, 94025, USA) through which the user can share the contents of websites with his/her friends or contacts. Facebook Plugin is labelled with the Facebook logo. This plugin connects the user with Provider’s profile on Facebook server. Facebook gains information that the user visited the website from his/her IP address.

8.4 The Provider points out that he does not maintain the above mentioned plugin and is therefore not responsible for either personal data processing by the provider of the above mentioned plugin or websites referred to or their proper functioning or potential damages. The Provider also points out that he does not receive any information about gathered data and their further utilization. The Provider is not familiar with the purpose and the scope of data gathered by Facebook. 9. FINAL PROVISIONS

9.1 The Provider is only entitled to share the data gathered by cookies on the basis of fulfilling the contract with third parties or on the basis of being compliant with the regulation. The Provider shares only the minimum data necessary for providing the services of third parties. These third parties are usually those who are:

9.1.1 participating in the contractual relationship (i.e. accountant and tax advisor, provider of payment and banking services, etc.);

9.1.2 participating in the web maintenance, mail services, cloud services or other services connected with these services;

9.1.3 responsible for marketing services;

9.1.4 contract owners for adverts.
